Filming for Channel 4's Four in a Bed TV programme
Paul and Lynnie Jolly from Higher Gitcombe Boutique Bed and Breakfast were thrilled to take part in Channel Fours programme Four in a Bed - a competition between four Bed and Breakfast establishments.
Filming took place over two whole weeks all around the country. We soon learnt the 'catch phrases' - One more time please - We are good to go - Look at Paul Lynnie - Look at Lynnie Paul - Everyone happy?
Great fun, long hours and an experience to remember.

Dartmouth Music Festival event every May
An annual three day music festival now in its eighteenth year. A 'Music for All' policy means over 100 performances spanning almost every genre throughout the town in a variety of lovely venues from pubs to churches - and it's FREE to listen to! Closing act featured The Wurzels!
Kingsbridge Annual Classic Car Show
Over 100 classic cars on show on the Quayside including pre-war Bentley Derby, Jaguar E Type and many others. A further event is held on August Bank Holiday Monday in nearby Aveton Gifford.

Classic Car Event
The local Devon branch of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club held their annual summer meet at nearby
Bicton Park and was attended by around sixty classic Jaguars and other cars of similar style.
The event was set within the magnificent gardens and historic grounds near Budleigh Salterton and
was well attended in superb sunshine. An event well worth travelling to, as I'm a enthusiast and run a Car Consulting business I may well see you there.

Wedding Party at Higher Gitcombe
Marie and her family stayed for the evening prior to her marriage ceremony at The Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth.
